When Distractions Are the Most Dangerous

woman sitting on bedRight before you reach a milestone, right before a breakthrough, distractions will come. And they won’t be obvious.

They won’t be obvious because they may have the appearance of what you’ve waited for. They will look like answers to prayer. They will look like the light at the end of the tunnel you’ve been trudging through, but…

Prayerfully advance. Tip toe. Eyes wide open. Baby steps. Heart sensitive to God’s leading.

Make sure you don’t let go of your Father’s hand. Keep your eyes on Him as you put your next foot forward, listening intently, for when your soul becomes glad or relieved, you can fall into focusing too much on that thing you’ve wanted, that answer to prayer.

Every open door is not the right door. Listen to the Spirit of God to know which door to go through. And if He re-directs you, follow Him no matter what!

If you pursue a thing, you will become troubled. Pursuing a thing can rob you of your joy and peace. Pursue God. Pursue His righteousness…

…and ALL these things will be added unto you! (Matthew 6)

Loads of grace,
