Quiet, Blessed Quiet

This was born out of too much noise for too long a time.  Remember to seek out, provide for, and relish in your time of prayer, reflection, and conversation with God.

Quiet, blessed quiet

Come to me once more

I plug my ears to drown it out

And long for the shore

Where all you hear are wind and sea

The cry of the gull

And all you feel are sun and breeze

And gentle waves that pull

~

Quiet, blessed quiet

Your value ranks quite high

That time alone is sacred where

God speaks and angels sigh

I long again to fill my space

The way air fills the sky

To soar ever quietly

While on my bed I lie
